HEDLEY BULL SCHOLARSHIP
The graduate studies in international affairs programme at the Graduate Studies in International Affairs, department of international relations, Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies, Hedley Bull Centre, Building 130, The Australian National University, Canberra ACT 0200, Australia offers up to four Hedley Bull Scholarships each year for full-time study in the Master of arts (international relations). The scholarship provides a
full-fee waiver for three full-time sessions (semesters) which amounts to 48 units of graduate coursework and a 24-unit thesis session. More on rspas.anu.edu.au/gsia/scholarships.htm Requirements: Obtained at least second class honours, division A, in their Australian Bachelor degree, or the equivalent in a degree from other countries in any discipline of the social sciences or the humanities. International students will normally be required to produce evidence of one of the following: verification of a tertiary degree of at least two years conducted entirely in English; an IELTS overall band score of 6.5 together with a score of at least 6.0 in all components or a minimum TOEFL score (Check with the Australian Diplomatic Mission in India whether TOEFL is accepted for student visa purposes.)
Application: Go to the ANU apply online at students.anu.edu.au/apply-online.asp website and enter your application. When applying, include a covering letter indicating interest in being considered for the scholarship and making the case for being granted one. The covering letter together with the application for the MA (international relations) (including transcripts and three academic references) will be considered as the full application for the scholarship.
